On May 2, “Forever First Lady,” Michelle Obama teamed up with Better Make Room for College Signing Day 2018 at Temple University. This marks the fifth year of Obama’s call to encourage the pursuit of higher education. This call to action is to also make college admission as much of an accomplishment, celebration as the NBA Draft, landing a recording contract, and even the Super Bowl.
The College Signing Day events began under the Obama administration and have continued each year, now with more than 2,000 college signing day events nationwide, each year.
