2017 Hustle Her Way Summit

I had the privilege of closing out the 2017

#hustleHERway Summit as the moderator for a panel of female founders!

Kyshira Moffett gave me a homework assignment that included doing more speaking engagements. Before I could come up with an excuse for not completing the assignment, she said, “I’m looking for a moderator for the summit, can you be there?” Kyshira, thank you for the opportunity, extra push, and bringing so many amazing women together this weekend.

As an undergrad at Ohio State, I was fortunate enough to be in the company of women with vision and a clear understanding of what it means to live your life with intention. Lucky for me, one of those women was Lakisha Greenwade!

How exciting to reconnect with the person who all but made me read “

The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren. (I still have my journal packed away somewhere.) I was inspired by her transparency and reminder that there is no obstacle greater than God or your purpose. Thank you for setting the standard so many years ago and cheering me on. *salute* from one Buckeye to another, “Glam, girl!”

If you are reading this and have been sitting on an idea and don’t know where to start — keep in mind that every woman on the entrepreneurship panel this weekend agreed that:

The Most Important Thing You Can Do Is START. Don’t be silent, be strategic.
