A10: Hyde Park

I’ve heard and read so many great things. Today I had to experience it for myself.

I have walked by this restaurant so many times imagining how nice it would be to sit on the patio with that special someone or maybe even a few friends. But like so many other situations in life, you can’t keep waiting for the right moment to happen. You have to make it happen. So I decided to revert to my old solo “and so what” self – and treat myself to dinner; with a book on hand and phone on silent of course. I ordered a cocktail called “Air Mail” while I looked over the menu and was sold after the first sip:
  1. Demerara 5 Year Rum

  2. Tissot Cremant

  3. Honey

  4. Abbot’s Bitters When the Baked Campanelle was brought out… I couldn’t put my book away fast enough:

  5. Broccoli

  6. Goat Cheese

  7. Toasted Garlic

  8. Calabrian Chile The portion size initially concerned me when the dish arrived. However, it was very filling and there was no room for dessert when I finished. (But that didn’t stop me from taking dessert home…lol)

I highly recommend the Ricotta Doughnuts! (♥)
